Whether you are a first responder, military personnel, or civilian with no medical background, this course will equip you with the essential knowledge and hands-on experience to manage medical emergencies in active or dangerous situations.
This class will have many types of learning: lecture, hands on, and live fire scenarios.
Participants will learn:
- Rapid patient assessment in hostile environments
- Hemorrhage control (tourniquets, wound packing, pressure dressings)
- Airway management basics
- Managing chest injuries
- Casualty movement and extraction techniques
- Hemorrhage control and tourniquet application under fire
- Extrication techniques: single provider and team coordination
- Multiple live fire scenarios with hands on medical training
Gear Requirements:
· Handgun with appropriate holster
· 350 rounds of handgun ammunition
· Three handgun magazines
· Eye and ear protection
· Note taking material
We advise you to wear some older style clothes. We do use fake blood, and it says it will not stain.
